THE DAYBREAK

THE DAYBREAK (113) (al-falaq)

Number of Verses: 5

In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

(Muhammad), say, "I seek protection from the Lord of the Dawn (113:1)

against the evil of whatever He has created (2).

I seek His protection against the evil of the invading darkness, (3)

from the evil of those who practice witchcraft (4)

and from the evil of the envious ones (5).
